Aerial 1

 

Aerial 1 is a 1976 Ford on a Pierce chassis. It comes equipped with 800 feet of 4 inch supply line and 400 feet of 2 ½ hose. It has a flow capacity of 1000 gallons a minute and seats three firefighters. It responds to all multiple story commercial structure alarms and anything more than a two family dwelling. The boom is capable of reaching 85 feet. The platform has a weight capacity of 900 pounds. It also has a cascade system, safety belts, axe, 14 foot extension ladder, and rescue ropes. The master stream device flows 1000 gallons a minute by a pre-piped connection.
