Engine 33
Engine 33 is a 2001 Smeal
on a Freightliner chassis. It comes equipped with a 1000 gallon tank, 1200 feet
of 5 inch supply line, 550 feet of 2 ½
hose, 450 feet of 1 ¾ hose, and 100 feet of 1 ½ hose. It has a flow capacity of
1250 gallons a minute. It seats three firefighters and also carries auto
extrication equipment. The extrication equipment is made by Ankus
and includes spreaders, ram, and cutters which are hydraulic. The generator is
a duo-pump which enables us to use two tools at the same time. We also use a air chisel set, saw-zall, and
cribbing.
